Kimia Ghafari
Health Science Research Fellow
Kimia is a post-baccalaureate researcher interested in neural pathways and the role of astrocytes during Alzheimer’s disease progression. Her research focuses on the correlation between astrocytic genes and pathology/cognition in Alzheimer’s disease patients.
Sudhagar Babu
Health Science Research Fellow
Sudhagar is a post-graduate research fellow with a background in Biotechnology. Having identified several transcriptionally distinct microglial cell types, he is trying to elucidate novel regulators that govern and modulate microglia activation in Neurodegeneration using pooled CRISPR screens.
